Please see the information below on how to begin the process for any NEW student enrolling in New Albany Floyd County Schools for the 2024-25 school year. You may also contact the school directly. As a reminder — CURRENT NAFCS students do not need to go through this enrollment process. Current students are already pre-enrolled for 2024-25.
Kindergarten Students
If you have a child that will be 5 years old by August 1, 2024, he/she is eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year.
Are you a current resident of Floyd County, Indiana? If no, please follow the instructions below for Out-of-County Transfers.
Do you need to know what school your child will attend (based on home address)? If so, please click here to view district boundary maps or you may call our Transportation Office at 812-542-4707.
Parents need to complete the pre-enrollment process for the school zoned for your residence. If you completed this at the Feb. 1, 2024 Open House, you do not need to repeat this process. If you have not completed this process, please contact the school that your child will attend (based on home address) for further information and next steps.
If you are requesting a transfer to another NAFC school for the 2024-25 school year, please complete the 2024-25 Transfer Request.
NEW Students Grades 1-12

Please complete the 2024-25 School Contact Form. Once this form is completed, school personnel will be in contact with next steps.
If you are requesting a transfer to a school that is not zoned for your residence for the 2024-25 school year, please complete the 2024-25 Transfer Request.
Out-of-County Transfer Request for 2024-25
Please complete the 2024-25 Transfer Request if you are a resident of Indiana but NOT a resident of Floyd County. There is no tuition fee for Indiana residents, but there is a tuition fee for Kentucky residents.
Transfer requests will be processed by an administrator and parents will be notified as soon as possible for the 2024-25 school year.
Other Transfer Information
Students already attending a NAFC school on transfer DO NOT have to reapply to continue for 2024-25.
If you are a current NAFC student but would like to request a transfer to another NAFC school that is not zoned for your residence for the 2024-25 school year, please complete the 2024-25 Transfer Request.
